Calling ALL LITTLE TROOPS for our annual Halloween event on OCTOBER 31ST. Join us for a FREE night of candy from around the world where our troops have served, costumes, courage crafts, puppets, and more here at the Heritage Center!

WHY are we offering this?

We recognize access barriers exist for school groups—transportation costs, entry fees, etc. We wanted to create an opportunity for students and their families to freely access the BIG stories of Medal of Honor and Space Medal of Honor Recipients here at our Center in a fun and engaging way after our regular hours. Thus, Troops & Treats came about in 2023, and we were overwhelmed (in a good way) with the turnout. So, we want to offer this FREE night again in the hopes even more from surrounding communities have a chance to experience our gallery in a unique way!

Sweet Treats | Trick-or-treat your way through our gallery’s historic exhibits, filling your goody bags with candies from around the world where our troops have served!

Courage Crafts | Get creative with our COURAGE crafts and activities that will bring out your inner artist.

Costumes Encouraged | Do you have a favorite historical character? A favorite Hero? Show off your awesome costume! 

Photo Booth | Capture the memories at our Medal of Honor photo booth. Share your snapshots with friends and family!

Puppet Show | Our entertaining puppet show will transport you back to the past, where brave little troops like you can join the adventure!
