The National Medal of Honor Heritage Center has created and maintains this website and other digital properties to support its mission to honor and preserve the stories of Medal of Honor recipients and to educate visitors about the history and values of the nation’s highest military award. By using this website or any of the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center’s digital properties, you accept and agree to comply with the following terms, which the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center may change at any time.

1. Ownership of the Content

The National Medal of Honor Heritage Center owns the compilation of content posted on its website and digital properties, which consists of text, images, audio, video, databases, design, codes, and software (“Content”). This does not mean that the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center owns each component of the compilation, some of which may be owned by others and used with their permission or used in accordance with applicable law (e.g., fair use). Many of the names, titles, logos, and designs on the website and digital properties are trademarks or service marks owned by or licensed to the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center. The National Medal of Honor Heritage Center also owns trademark rights in its name and logo. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Hamilton County, Tennessee, for any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the website or digital properties.
