Weekend Gallery Attendant

Job Summary:

This is a part-time on-site role as a Weekend Gallery Attendant at the Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center. The Gallery Attendant will be responsible for welcoming visitors, providing information about the exhibits, ensuring the safety and security of the artifacts, and maintaining cleanliness in the galleries. The role will also involve answering visitor inquiries and assisting with gallery administration tasks. This position combines education, storytelling, and retail skills to create an enriching experience for our guests.

Work Schedule:

Part-Time
$15 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge and interest in American History or military history
  • Ability to effectively engage with visitors and provide information
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure artifact security
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Experience in gallery administration is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
