Visitors to the Heritage Center will then literally walk in Charles Coolidge’s shoes as they trace his WWII journey.  He hiked over 1500 miles from Africa to Europe as he fought for our freedom.  This will then place guests in the Coolidge Theater in which they will be able to take a stand with Charles Coolidge as the action that earned him the Medal of Honor breaks out around them.  The theater is set in the forests of France and features large screens around the visitor as you watch Coolidge dodge tank fire.  Interviews with Charles Coolidge himself will also play alongside the images.  Visitors will also see actual objects that belonged with Charles H. Coolidge and Desmond T. Doss.
