As part of our nation’s America 250 celebration, the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center and WTCI PBS are collaborating to host free public programming on June 5th to explore “the spirit of service” from the American Revolution to present-day.

– Free admission to the Heritage Center. Explore the BIG stories of those who have received our nation’s highest military decoration.

2PM screening of clips from Ken Burns’s The American Revolution

Following the screening, a panel discussion centered on “the spirit of service” with Medal of Honor Recipient Dwight Birdwell and a historian who consulted on the film will take place. This panel discussion will be moderated by Hamilton County Historian Linda Moss Mines.
