National Medal of Honor Heritage Center Partners with Rock City For Online Ticketing and Merchandising

See Rock City

Driving down the road in rural towns throughout Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and beyond, you might have seen “See Rock City” printed on the roof of an old barn. The history of See Rock City Inc. goes back as early as the 1800’s, and since opening its doors to the public as an official tourism attraction in 1932, the “See Rock City” logo has become a staple in Chattanooga’s history becoming one of the most recognizable attractions not only in the South but also nationwide. Their marketing, operations and people are the reason it continues to be one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Southeast, and its success is something other attractions strive to live up to.

That is why it is we at the Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center (Heritage Center) are pleased to announce our newest partnership with See Rock City, Inc. (SRC Inc.) for the management of the Heritage Center’s ticketing, gift shop and merchandising operations.

What This Partnership Means

No one knows the power of merchandise and branding better than See Rock City Inc. – remember the barns? To assist the Heritage Center in our efforts to produce valuable merchandise that will enable visitors to commemorate their experience in a special way, Rock City used its expertise in product development and vendor relationships to collaborate with the Heritage Center’s team to produce the highest quality merchandise sure to appeal to The Heritage Center’s visitors.

“We have worked to develop an inventory that represents the mission and brand of the Heritage Center,” said Melissa Griggs, director of attractions revenue at SRC Inc. “We have a wide range of items and price points to appeal to both children and adults, while creating multiple souvenirs with the Heritage Center logo.”

A Word From The Heritage Center’s Executive Director, Keith Hardison

We are excited to partner with the See Rock City Inc. team to manage our merchandising operations. Rock City Gardens has a long-standing reputation as one of the world’s most popular tourist attractions. We believe there is a natural synergy between our two attractions and that the Heritage Center will greatly benefit from their merchandising expertise.

A Word from Rock City’s President & COO, Susan Harris

We too are excited about this partnership. The Heritage Center is such an incredible addition to Chattanooga, and we look forward to bringing our talents in guest experience and retail merchandising to support their mission.
