Enhance your visit to the Heritage Center with a pre or post-hours special event. Enjoy a delicious breakfast or dinner, along with private time in the museum ONLY for your group. Also consider adding on an unforgettable and thought-provoking guided tour to further enrich your visit to the Heritage Center. The pricing is the same for lunch, during operating hours, but the guided tour is included at no charge.

The museum is located at 2 W. Aquarium Way, Suite 104, Chattanooga, TN 37402. Please use the provided Google Maps for exact directions.
There are meter parking spots and paid parking lots near the Heritage Center. A free shuttle runs daily from the Chattanooga Choo Choo throughout downtown Chattanooga and over to the North Shore.
There is a bus turn-around available for loading and unloading where Broad Street ends to meet the Heritage Center and Aquarium Plaza area. Within a few blocks of the Heritage Center is off-site extended parking on Power Alley, which is located directly behind the Tennessee Aquarium IMAX Theater. Additional motorcoach parking is available between Power Alley and Chestnut Street. Overflow parking is available one block North on Riverfront Parkway, West of Power Alley, under the Olgiati Bridge.

The Heritage Center is open during holidays except on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. The Heritage Center will close at 1 PM on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

All exhibit galleries are fully accessible, and we provide an elevator to transport visitors to the second floor. Restrooms are handicapped accessible. We have two wheelchairs available on a first-come basis.
Strollers are welcome throughout the Heritage Center, but we do not have strollers for rent.
