Please join us in Knoxville on July 22nd for professional development with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society! This full-day training from the Congressional Medal of Honor Society will provide you with all the tools you need to bring the Medal of Honor Character Development Program into your elementary or secondary classroom. The Character Development Program is a flexible, cross-curricular resource, which uses the oral histories of Medal of Honor recipients and focuses on how students can use these examples of courage, commitment, sacrifice, integrity, citizenship and patriotism to influence change in their own communities. Middle and high school teachers from all subject areas along with counselors, coaches, and administrators are invited to attend.

Those who attend will receive all of the resources at no cost and will learn techniques for using the lessons with students. For more information on the program, visit www.themedalofhonor.com. No cost to attend. Lunch is included.  Register on their website at https://www.cmohs.org/training/in-person
