2nd Annual Clay Shoot

Special Event
When
Thursday, October 1, 2020

Where
Benton Sporting Clays in Benton, Tennessee

Please join us for a day of fun and celebration as we honor the meaning and tradition of the Medal of Honor. The National Medal of Heritage Center serves as an engaging storyteller and shares the real-life experiences of Medal of Honor recipients and their extraordinary heroism. Each of these amazing, inspiring and, all too often, heart-breaking stories define the meaning of valor and the virtue of putting service over self. In doing so, the Heritage Center inspires future generations to reach for these lofty character attributes every day and help empower them to emulate these values in order to make their lives and community better.

Proceeds from the tournament supports the Heritage Center’s ongoing efforts to expand the Medal of Honor Society’s Character Development Program in Tennessee.  This program teaches youth how to embrace the six character traits embodied by the Medal of Honor: Patriotism, Citizenship, Integrity, Courage, Sacrifice and Commitment.

The course features 6 stands in a wooded setting and 9 stands in open rolling fields with ponds. The facility also offers tower shots, shots over water, elevated shooting platforms, paved cart paths and wireless remote clay launchers.

To learn more about sponsoring the tournament or to enter a team, please contact Jules Parker at Jules@MOHHC.org or call (423) 877-2525.
